Project Summary

The existing building was completely refurbished into a 57,000 SF hotel with lobby, work lounge, restaurant, bar and 86 luxurious hotel rooms and suites. Providing design-build and value engineering services, Pacific Structures supplied invaluable assistance in the constructability of the remodel and helped to optimize the project. The existing concrete structure originally built in the 70’s had an unusual Post Tensioned (PT) mat slab requiring special care and sequencing procedures during the seismic retrofit. The team installed a series of reinforced concrete walls, collector beams, and carbon fiber.
