Debbie Allen Dance Academy

This 25,000 SF dance studio project is located at Washington and Western near downtown Los Angeles. The new structural steel building features a state of the art performing arts theater, several dance studios, classrooms, locker rooms, gallery areas and work areas. The award winning design also incorporated existing brick walls that remained from the previous on site structure that was built in 1922. Significant acoustic ratings were provided within the dance studios. The exterior skin features lighted translucent polycarbonate panels.
