Projects Maxwell Garage & Field

Maxwell Garage & Field

The Maxwell Garage included demolition of an existing multi-purpose sports field to make way for 1.5 levels below-grade and 1 level above-grade parking. Once the parking structure was completed, the team re-constructed the field on top of the parking structure, 10 FT above grade. The site location provides parking to the remodeled Cal Memorial Stadium, the Greek Theatre and general campus use. The Hayward Fault is located just to the West of the site and was taken into consideration throughout construction.
